Council of Saudi Chambers Hosted Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration

The board chairman of the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), Mr. Yassin bin Khalid Khayat and the CEO, Dr. Hamed bin Hassan Merah visited the chairman of the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), Mr. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi and the Secretary General of the Council Dr. Saud Al Meshari, to strengthen the strategic relationship and possible cooperation between SCCA and CSC. Firstly, Mr. Yaseen Khayat thanked the Council of Saudi Chambers for their hospitality which reflects the strong relationship between the two parties. Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi also highlighted the importance of the SCCA in developing the institutional arbitration industry and its active role in enhancing the investment environment competitiveness of in Saudi Arabia.

Then, Dr. Hamed Merah affirmed the commitment of the SCCA to cooperate with the CSC as the CSC is considered a proactive partner in the development in order to find an effective alternative disputes resolution complying with the aspirations of the private sector. In his talk, Dr. Merah relied on the SCCA's mission which is providing a professional, transparent and efficient alternative disputes resolution services. These services are inspired by Sharia and complying with the best international standards, Applied by a professional institutional management in accordance with the SCCA's rules and procedures.
