The SCCA Arbitration Rules enable parties to obtain urgent relief prior to the constitution of an arbitral tribunal as an alternative to applying to national courts. A party seeking emergency relief can request the SCCA to appoint an emergency arbitrator to decide the request for emergency relief within a matter of days.
