A Global Arbitration Competition ... In Arabic

In the SCCA Arabic Moot, each competing team will take a turn playing the roles of both the Claimant and the Respondent by submitting written briefs and presenting oral arguments in a hypothetical arbitration case before top international arbitrators. Thus, the competition reinforces the practical dimension of the academic knowledge that students receive in their university studies.

Welcome to the fifth edition of the SCCA International Arabic Moot in Commercial Arbitration, where students from law and Sharia colleges from around the world come together to compete in hypothetical arbitration cases, in Arabic, that simulate real-world international commercial arbitration cases.
This fifth edition is different from al previous editions, whether your team makes to the top 32 rounds or not, you will be invited to attend first ever Riyadh International Disputes Week (RIDW) that will be held in parallel with the advanced rounds of the top 32 hearings between 3-7 March 2024.

If you are a law or Sharia student and you are interested in developing your own commercial arbitration pleading skills and expanding your network with international industry experts, get your pen and paper ready, collect your legal references, and be prepared to start a journey that could be a turning point in your academic and professional paths!
