File Your Arbitration or Mediation Online

You can now file your case with the SCCA completely online from your laptop at home or using your mobile phone when on the road. The following two links give you access to our online filing system at any time. Please ensure that the SCCA is mentioned by name in your arbitration agreement or mediation agreement before you proceed with filing a case online.

FILE AN ARBITRATION   FILE A MEDIATION

The process works in four easy steps:

  1. File your case online – Click on one of the two buttons above and let the online filing system guide you through the information and document collection process. If you also intend to file an emergency application pursuant to Article 6 of the SCCA Arbitration Rules, please indicate this in the arbitration form where requested.

NOTE: Please be reminded that once you have submitted your Notice of Arbitration or a Request for Mediation online with us you must, as per the Rules, submit a copy of the Notice of Arbitration or Request for Mediation, along with any documents you have uploaded, to the other parties involved in this case. A copy of the Notice of Arbitration or Request for Mediation will automatically be sent to you after you have submitted your filing online.

  1. We will review your filing – The SCCA will review your filing for completeness to ensure that we have all we need from you to proceed with the registration of your case. If not, we will follow up with you via email within 48 hours.
  2. Pay the filing fee – Once we have reviewed your filing and have authority to administer your case, we will contact you to guide you through the payment process and provide you with an invoice for the filing fee and payment instructions.
  3. We will initiate your case – Once we have received your payment, we will register your case and assign a case number to it. We will then send out an official initiation letter to all parties, which will provide the parties with further instructions.
