A Global Arbitration Competition ... In Arabic
Welcome to the fourth edition of the SCCA Arabic Moot in Commercial Arbitration, where students from law and Sharia colleges from around the world come together to compete in hypothetical arbitration cases, in Arabic, that simulate real-world international commercial arbitration cases.
In the SCCA Arabic Moot, each competing team will take a turn playing the roles of both the Claimant and the Respondent by submitting written briefs and presenting oral arguments in a hypothetical arbitration case before top international arbitrators. Thus, the competition reinforces the practical dimension of the academic knowledge that students receive in their university studies If you are a law or Sharia student and you are interested in developing your own commercial arbitration pleading skills, get your pen and paper ready, collect your legal references, and be prepared to compete!
