The Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) introduced select entrepreneurs and emerging national companies to institutional alternatives for resolving commercial disputes at a series of bootcamps around Saudi Arabia.

SCCA partnered in the Franchise Bootcamp series organized by The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), represented by the Commercial Franchise Center (Emtiyaz), at the Enterprise Support Centers in a number of cities.  Participants in the bootcamps gained brand development skills and practices that will help them operate under the Franchise Law.

SCCA participated in three workshops held as part of bootcamp activities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar. It highlighted the role that institutional arbitration, mediation, and other ADR tools play in facilitating business, especially for franchisees with trademark licenses, as an assortment of entrepreneurs and franchisees with trademark licenses attended the workshops.

As the Kingdom’s representative in the field of ADR on the local level, SCCA participated in the bootcamps to raise awareness among franchisees with trademark licenses of the best mechanisms for preventing and resolving commercial disputes. By availing themselves of institutional arbitration and mediation, they can maintain the continuity of their business and support its growth.
