SCCA Welcomes the UAE’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia

At its headquarters in Riyadh today, the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) received His Excellency the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Nehyan Bin Saif Al-Nehyan, along with the commercial attaché at the Embassy, Mr. Ahmed Bin Sultan Al-Falahi.
The Emirati delegation was received by SCCA CEO Dr. Hamed Bin Hassan Merah and a number of SCCA leaders.
During the meeting, the Ambassador learned about the latest developments in the alternative dispute resolution industry in Saudi Arabia and the efforts the country is making to enable an attractive climate for domestic and foreign investment. The meeting also included an introduction to the arbitration and mediation services the SCCA offers for business projects of various sizes in numerous sectors.
Those at the meeting also discussed areas of cooperation between Saudi and Emirati business sectors and ways to promote dispute settlement clauses in contracts and projects among both countries’ business communities.
The Ambassador also toured the SCCA’s halls and facilities and was briefed on the latest technical and administrative equipment it has on hand to manage and host arbitration and mediation sessions.
