3-day intensive course providing lawyers, mediators and other professionals interested in professional development focused on mediation skills development to enhance their knowledge, understanding and skills with a group of their peers taught by experts in the field of international ADR, most notably members of the SCCA and AAA/ICDR International Panel of Trainers and Mediators. The program is specifically designed to provide a comprehensive immersion in the essential skills and knowledge required of all mediators.  Completing the course provides the foundational hours of introductory training for practicing mediators. Through engaging dialogue, interactive exercises and simulated mediations facilitated (with constructive and useful feedback) by a faculty of experienced mediators, Participants will not only acquire vital knowledge about mediation theory, practice and techniques, but also begin developing the skills indispensable to being an effective mediator.
