SCCA stated that the revised fees will apply to any of the above services registered with SCCA on or after November 1, 2026. This follows the SCCA Board of Directors’ approval of changes to the fee schedules applicable to cases administered under the SCCA Arbitration Rules, the Expedited Procedure Rules, and the Small Claims Procedures.
The revisions form part of the SCCA’s ongoing review of its arbitration fee schedule to keep pace with the growth in its caseload, particularly complex cases that require the engagement of leading international arbitrators. It also aims to enable SCCA to strike a balance between maintaining competitive fees and preserving the quality of services it provides to parties across various industry sectors.
The revised fee schedules take effect five years after the amendments to Annex I of the SCCA Arbitration Rules, which took effect on September 1, 2021.
SCCA invites parties, practitioners, and other interested stakeholders seeking to learn more about its revised fees to consult the fee schedules set out in Annexes I and II and Article 10 of Annex IV of the SCCA Arbitration Rules. They may also use the fee calculator available on the SCCA’s website to obtain estimated costs for arbitration cases administered by SCCA.
